Important information on how to take care of your new tattoo. Please read carefully!


  1. Remove the bandage in one (1) hour.
  2. Wash the tattoo thoroughly with warm soap and water.
  3. Gently pat the tattoo dry with a clean towel.
  4. Apply a small amount of the recommended ointment to the tattoo 3-4 times a day for the next 4-5 days in a very thin coat. Be sure to wash your hands before and after applying the ointment.
  5. Do not let other people touch your tattoo.
  6. Do not pick at or scratch your tattoo.
  7. When showering, make it quick! Wash your body and tattoo and get out. Soaking new tattoos for extended periods of time should be avoided.
  8. No pool, jacuzzi, or submerging your tattoo in chlorinated water until your tattoo is completely healed.
  9. Avoid excessive exposure to the sun or tanning beds until the tattoo is completely healed. Use sun block when exposing tattoo to the sun or tanning beds.
  10. Avoid using public gyms or work out facilities until your tattoo is fully healed. Gyms can be very unsanitary and unsafe for the healing of your tattoo.
  11. Avoid wearing tight clothing over fresh tattoos.
  12. Consult your physician or healthcare provider should an allergic reaction and/or infection occur.
  13. Do not allow pets to sit on or lick your tattoo as this will create an infection.
  14. Do not listen to your friends aftercare advice as they are not professional tattoo artists. Follow these instructions entirely.
  15. Your tattoo was performed in a clean and sterile environment. It is entirely up to you to keep your tattoo clean once you have left the studio. Your tattoo is your responsibility, care for it correctly and it will remain beautiful for a lifetime.
